Ingredients (serves 2):
- 1/2 cup cucumber, peeled and chopped
- 1 tbsp yuzu juice (or substitute with 1 tbsp lemon + 1 tsp orange juice)
- 1 tbsp honey or agave (to taste)
- 1/2 cup cold water or green tea (optional for depth)
- 1 cup soda water or sparkling water
- Ice cubes
- Thin cucumber ribbons or wheels, for garnish
- Mint or shiso leaves (optional), for garnish
Blend the Base:
In a blender, purée cucumber with yuzu juice, honey, and cold water or green tea until smooth.
Strain (Optional):
For a clear drink, strain through a fine mesh sieve. For a pulpy texture, skip this step.
Serve:
Fill glasses with ice and a cucumber ribbon along the side (for a pretty look). Pour the cucumber–yuzu mix halfway up the glass.
Top with Sparkle:
Add soda water to top it off and stir gently.
Garnish:
Add a sprig of mint or a shiso leaf for an herbal note.
