🛒 Ingredients:

  • 2 fresh croissants (preferably bakery or all-butter style)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 slices of cheddar, Swiss, or Gruyère cheese
  • 2–4 slices of ham, smoked turkey, or crispy bacon
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Dijon mustard, arugula, tomato slices

Prep the Croissant:
Slice a fresh croissant in half and lightly toast it for extra crunch.

Cook the Egg:
Fry, scramble, or poach an egg to your preferred doneness. Season with salt and pepper.

Add Cheese & Toppings:
Layer your egg with slices of cheese, avocado, tomato, or smoked salmon for extra flavor.

Assemble the Sandwich:
Place the cooked egg and toppings onto the bottom half of the croissant. Top with the other half and press gently.

Serve:
Enjoy warm, optionally with a side of fresh fruit or a small salad for a complete breakfast or brunch.


Tips:

  • Try smoked salmon + herbed cream cheese instead of meat and cheese.
